Young anglers at Tyrdref fishery, Llandysul (Beat 12)
This panoramic view, taken in late July, shows a section of the Tyrdref fishery, with the town of Llandysul overlooking the playing fields and the river. There are two productive salmon pools on this beat, which also holds sea trout and wild brown trout.

The Tyrdref fishery is one of twenty-three Llandysul Angling Association fishing beats that together cover some thirty miles of the River Teifi between Newcastle Emlyn and Llanfair Clydogau (just downstream of Tregaron)
